The Opera House Next Door - Entry 3

This week we have been working on an outline for the workshops, planning for costume and set design, dates for the workshops and a timescale highlighting the dates for which each part of the production must be completed.

For me the most important outcome of this was creating a structured working timeline that I can work to. This has very much helped organise my workflow by allowing me to prioritise and plan ahead which pieces need to be completed first. I am excited to embark on this journey and I embrace the challenges that I may face. If what I have learned already so far from working on this opera is that problems can be solved, and often the product of these are even better than what you set out to do in the first place.

This week was one of testing materials and coming up with ideas for the puzzles. We came up with some great ideas that we are continuing to develop through the prototypes. The sewing box was out, and the first prop was made.
